Welcome

Welcome to Dinas Powys Athletic Club – a thriving community hub at the heart of village life.

Located alongside the beautiful Dinas Powys Common, our club is more than just a venue – it’s a place where sport, community and friendship come together. Whether you’re here to support local teams, enjoy a drink with friends, host an event, or simply relax in our spacious beer garden, you’ll always find a warm welcome.

Our club is proud to be home to a wide range of sporting and social groups. From Dinas Powys Rugby Club formed in 1882, Dinas Powys Cricket Club and their respective ladies and thriving Junior sections, to Wenvoe Petanque Team and local skittles sides, we provide a central hub where sport and community flourish together. Generations of local people have played, volunteered, and socialised here – creating a club that truly belongs to the village.

Inside, our large lounge area is ideal for events, celebrations and community gatherings. With space for up to 120 people, a dance floor, and the option to arrange entertainment and catering, we are proud to host everything from parties and charity events to wakes and local group meetings.

At its core, Dinas Powys Athletic Club is run by volunteers and supported by its members – people who care deeply about maintaining a welcoming space for all. Our friendly staff and committee work together to ensure the club continues to thrive for future generations.

Whether you’re a player, supporter, local resident or visitor, we invite you to come and be part of our community.
